Quick answer

These are the 4 themes candidates reported from the DALF sessions of July 2026, one entry per section with what the format asked for and a note on preparing it. They are not the official questions: they are the families of topics that keep coming back, to practise under timing before your own session.

Updated

Independent prep resource, not affiliated with the awarding bodies. Themes are modelled on the formats candidates report, never verbatim exam content. Use them to steer Studio, Memo and Coach Review, not as an exam dump.

  1. Listening

    Academic lectures and debate excerpts

Note stance markers (cependant, en revanche).

  2. Reading

    Long-form essays and synthesis packets

DALF synthesis: map sources before drafting.

  3. Writing

    Synthèse + essai argumenté

Separate summary from personal stance cleanly.

  4. Speaking

Exposé from a dossier + defense

Rehearse timed exposés in Studio; seek Coach Review on cohesion.

Next step: build a Path around the sections where these themes felt hardest, then alternate timed Studio with Memo vocabulary.
