Quick answer

These are the 4 themes candidates reported from the TCF Canada sessions of September 2026, one entry per section with what the format asked for and a note on preparing it. They are not the official questions: they are the families of topics that keep coming back, to practise under timing before your own session.

  1. Listening

Work and training: job offers, schedules, course enrolment

The answer often hangs on a detail that changes: a moved date, another room, a second price.

  2. Reading

Culture and society: event programmes and short opinion pieces

Read the question first, then find the paragraph; the hardest items ask for the author’s position, not a fact.

  3. Writing

Remote work, screens and AI, consumption: compare two viewpoints

Task 3: sum up both documents in about a third of the text before giving your own view.

  4. Speaking

Practical questions to a friend (a move, a parcel, a group outing) + a debate on parenting, integration or privacy online

Task 2: keep a set of ready question openers. Task 3: one clear position, two reasons, an example for each.

Next step: build a Path around the sections where these themes felt hardest, then alternate timed Studio with Memo vocabulary.
